In 2009 Ian Boettcher Motors celebrates 40 years service to the South-East Queensland motor industry, from humble beginnings in 1969 through today’s multiple award-winning motor dealership and race division.
The majority of Ipswich families have, over the years, either purchased a new or used vehicle, had a car serviced or financed through the company, or been touched by one of the generous community donations the Boettcher family is so highly regarded for.
 “My wife Joan and I have been partners for more than 55 years and we are proud of our three children and six grand children,” Mr Boettcher said.

“We have a diverse company with complimentary focuses and our discount tyre and race parts division assist our core business.
“I work hard to provide our customers with outstanding customer service and this philosophy is carried through to every level of the company.”
The greatest compliment for Ian Boettcher Motors is its repeat customer base and longevity of its key staff.
“Our general sales manager Roy McKinty has been with the group since 1979 and I am delighted to have my
family and now grandchildren involved in the business.”
